The problem with these impeachment hearings is that a lot of decorated war veterans are involved.
When decorated war veterans are involved, the word “duty” comes up a lot. They have strong sense of duty. About lots of things.
And here I am, the mother of three boys. Every time someone says “duty”, I hear “doodie”.
It’s not my fault, really. I’ve been conditioned. But it’s distracting.
